Worst property management agency ever: rude and unprofessional

This Stott Agency are the rudest people I've ever encountered. Here is my story: First, it is extremely difficult to get a hold of them to just schedule an appointment. Then when they finally call us back, they don't work after 4:30, and they don't work on the week end. Fine, we arrange for a weekday, office hours appointment, even with our busy work schedule. When the day comes, the guy does even show up, or call ! When I call the office, they say that I am not on the schedule, and they cannot give me his phone number, so basically she may give him a message, but for today, too bad if you left work early, too bad if you arranged for all schedules to match. And the day after, the guy does not even call back !! So when I call back, they make it sound like I am the rude one, and they don't want to talk to me, and please don't call anymore. I am totally astonished at the attitude of the people in this agency. They totally do not care about the people who are calling, and when you call, frustrated that you never are able to get an appointment, they give you the attitude, and turn the whole situation around, saying that you are the rude one. I actually would hate to rent a house from them. Can you imagine if your washer broke or something?

My husband and I deeply regretted using this company to manage our property. 1) They were never able to find us even one prospective tenant (not even a "looker") even though they charged us for running an ad in the paper, 2) I ended up finding 4 prospective tenants on my own after they didn't do anything towards that effort, 3) they allowed their employees to make decisions which we did not approve of 4) they refused to remedy the situation or address any problems with the tenant when asked. In summation, they are a lame-duck company which exists solely to collect free money for you under the guise of being a property management firm. My husband and I are currently examining going after them for neglecting their fiduciary responsibility. They do not oversee their staff, and they do not oversee your property, even when asked to address a problem which you hire them to take responsibility for. If you want to throw your money away, hire them to manage your property.
